Elevate Your Valentine's Day Look with our Frilly Collar

Valentine's Day might feel a bit commercialised these days, but we think it is a fun excuse to accessorise your outfit to feel a little more special. Our floral frilly collar is perfect for a romantic date!
The design was inspired by historical references, particularly high neck ruffs. It is easy to wear and style and effortlessly elevates virtually any look, providing a lovely addition to a casual daytime date or more formal evening out. The collar makes an excellent layering piece, especially as it is detachable. The tartan ribbon can be tied in a bow to secure the collar to fit. It looks gorgeous popping out of a round or crew-neck jumper or with a tailored jacket for an instantly sophisticated look without the bulk of a full shirt underneath.
Each of our designs are limited edition, one-of-a-kind pieces, made in Scotland. The nature of hand block printing ensures that every metre of the fabric is slightly different, creating minor imperfections that are unique and cannot be replicated by a machine. Inspired by our love of tartan and nature, we have made collars in our Teal Drummond, Pink Lindsay, Blue Strathdon and Red Forfar block prints.
· The Teal print is formed from a beautiful greenish-blue that forms part of the Drummond of Perth Muted tartan. Layers of red, dark blue and golden yellow create depth to the floral design.
· The Pink design is based upon the Lindsay tartan. The base is a pale blue and layered with blocks of pink and intricate muted blue and red tones.
· The Blue is one of our original designs. It is inspired by the Strathdon tartan that comprises beautiful tones of blue, a deep maroon, burgundy and yellow.
· The Red Forfar design is one of our most special as we had to get permission to use this tartan in our collection. The Earl of Forfar tartan belongs to the Duke of Edinburgh. It is an elegant blue and brown design with a bright red accent. The red formed the base for our Forfar block print.
