A Weekend with Our Equestrian Community

What a weekend we’ve had!

The Scone Horse Trials were tremendous and did not disappoint. A month ago, while we were exhibiting at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair, also hosted at Scone Palace, a lovely customer approached us and said that we ought to be exhibiting at horsey events. She said she had worn her Antana Scout scarf to the Burghley Horse Trials and that everyone had been asking her, “Where did you get that scarf?” Delighted, we thanked her for kindly taking the time to relay this nugget, then promptly got on to Scone Horse Trials and said, “Can you squeeze us in?”

Well, we’ve never done anything at an equestrian competition before. We’ve never really tried to market ourselves in front of horse lovers at all, but it seems we may have met our people.

Not only was our location great, looking straight over to some pretty incredible jumps, but it was with lots of excitement that we discovered that the stand had washed its face by lunchtime on the very first day! That was pretty wonderful!!

For us, without a doubt, the best part was getting to meet so many of our wonderful customers.

After spending so much time creating content online, there’s something really special about getting out there, having a proper chat and seeing the excitement for what we do first-hand. Being surrounded by all the beautiful horses and so many passionate equestrian people made the whole weekend even more special.

For a small business, being part of events like the Scone Horse Trials means so much. Every sale, every small chat, every recommendation and every lovely bit of feedback helps us continue to grow. We genuinely couldn’t do it without the incredible support of our customers.

We’re already looking forward to the next equestrian event and hope to see you all there! Going to try to get to Burghley next!!!
