The Common Thread: Our Love Of Secondhand Brought Us Together

The first thing we did when we met was hit the charity shops and it’s still one of our favourite things to do together now!

For us, there is something so special in finding something high-quality or unique that is pre-loved or second-hand — it feels less like "shopping" and is so much more exciting and rewarding! We often find ourselves picking out the same items and having a joke about "who saw it first!"

Whether it's the thrill of the hunt, the sustainability factor, or just the fact that things were made better back in the day, second-hand finds seem to tell a much better story than new mass-produced products. As there is so much overproduction of fashion, it seems  more important than ever to invest in high quality pieces made from natural fabrics. If these can't always be sourced new, then second-hand seems the ideal place to find them!
